The year continued with our Winter Refits (Laying-up from November to March) and I started sailing a Colvic Watson ketch based in Chatham, see Rebellion. Our first trip on ADAT was dinner in Cherbourg in May which attracted many YOSC yachts.  To keep the costs down we dined in a local restaurant and fortunately all on one table.   Next was what is now YOSC’s annual Summer Cruise this time to Normandy and North Brittany over 2 weeks through the Channel Islands to St Malo and ADAT getting as far as Treburden where we entertained the local Mayor & Mayoress.  We found we were stretching our legs and getting adventurous.   I was still sailing annually in Greece and other members boats (power & sail). By now our Winter maintenance was established on the hard at Hayling Yacht.  We were certainly taking full advantage and enjoying our new bigger yacht.
